If you are thinking how I can write good things about Plesk when I have always been biased in favor of cPanel, let me tell you that I am never ‘against’ good things. But I am allowed favorites, right? OK, so let’s talk about Plesk.
Plesk or Parallels Plesk Panel is a good server control panel, and the biggest area where it scores over cPanel is the cost. Oh well, that is not the only reason Plesk is good. Ask any Plesk user and he/she will tell you that it is extremely easy to use. Yeah, I would say it has a very clean interface.
Again, if you ask a Plesk user, they will tell how stable a control panel it. They are right. Plesk is more stable than its peers. And Plesk has support for multiple platforms including the Windows and the Linux platforms. It has support for several languages other than English such as German, Japanese, Spanish, French, and Russian.
In terms of security too, Plesk is good. It uses the HTTPS protocol and offers a high level of security.
Plesk provides automation at various levels. And what’s more is that it lets you move accounts from other control panels conveniently. So, if you want to switch to Plesk from any other control panel, you need not worry.
Have you used Plesk? How have you found it? Do share with us your experience with plesk or any other web control panel. And keep watching this space for view and discussion on everything related to servers.
