Frequent Password Changes No Longer Recommended

Recently, the agency in charge of creating the security standards for the United States Government has made new recommendations. They are basically reversing some of the best practices that have been used for a long time.

Some of the changes they are implementing include an end to changing passwords, Getting rid of rudimentary complexity restrictions on passwords and using stringent new password validation. The goal is to create more security with better passwords, which are harder to guess and harder to hack.
