		<description>I (we at rackAID) prefer Plesk simply because it leaves the OS mostly intact.  On Red Hat and similar OS&#039;s, you can leverage various patch management tools to assure systems stay updated.  This simplifies many routine management tasks.  In practice, we also see fewer issues on Plesk, but that impression may be skewed by the clients we have on Plesk (small businesses) vs. those running cPanel, mostly shared hosting providers.

Both systems have their merits and a careful needs evaluation needs to be done before selecting one over the other.</description>
